born 1977, HK/USA. currently living and working in beijing. her work uses the premises and vocabulary of design in order to ask questions about how functionality and objecthood intertwine with social relationships and everyday life. Most recent attempts include HomeShop, a storefront space turned home base for interactions with the local community and the surrounding public space. Via the organisation of collaborative events and salon-type gatherings, research and field recordings, HomeShop seeks to develop an open platform that examines relationality as a tool both in and outside of other economic modes of production.
